MEDITATION & THE OUT OF BODY EXPERIENCE WEEKEND SEMINAR
A result oriented and transformative workshop that will take you to the pace of deep meditation and the threshold of the out of body experience… all in one exciting weekend!

Day One: Learn to experience a deep state of meditation that normally takes meditators years to achieve. Listening to scientifically proven brain technology from the Monroe Institute, you will create the same brain wave activity of an expert meditator in minutes, and learn to fully explore this profound state of mind. Also, you will be given the five most important techniques for experiencing the benefits of total relaxation, focus, clarity of mind, and blissful expanded states of consciousness that are available during deep meditation. In the first day you will learn how to:

• Meditate like an expert.
• Achieve profound states of Relaxation and Awareness.
• Sense and work with Subtle Energies like Chi.
• Sense and See Auras and Energy Fields.

Day Two: You will build upon the experiences of day one as you learn practical methods for Lucid Dreaming, and begin exploring the out of body state known as OBE or astral travel. In a series of guided exercise, you will learn the most successful techniques for having an OBE, as well as, the different types of OBEs that are possible. You will also learn the easiest and most powerful methods for perceiving and working with subtle energies for greater awareness and healing. After each exercise, you will have the opportunity journal your experiences and share with others in positive and empowering group setting. In the second day you will learn how to:

• Sense and work with your Energy Body.
• Communicate with your Higher Self.
• Lucid Dream.

My name is Doc Barham. I’m a certified Monroe Institute Outreach Trainer and Success Coach located in Los Angeles, California.  I’m excited to announce that The Monroe Institute (TMI) has approved the hosting of the Excursion, Advanced, and Human Plus Workshops in the Southern California area in the coming months.

The Excursion Workshop is a results oriented program that explores expanded states of awareness by listening to a patented audio technology call Hemi-Sync. Short for ‘hemispheric synchronization’, listening to Hemi-Sync sound optimizes brain function and helps create states of deep relaxation and meditation, enhanced creativity, increased intuition, out of body exploration, and communication with the higher self and other non-physical energies. We will also be exploring the aura, chakras, and meridians of the subtle energy body.

Participants learn through a series of fun and exciting guided Hemi-Sync audio exercises and group discussions how to achieve these profound states of awareness. Important personal revelations and insights are common during an Excursion Workshop and often lead to discovering a new sense of certainty and purpose and applying one’s full potential to all areas of life.

The next Excursion Workshop is a two-day weekend adventure that runs Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 6pm and will be held in Ojai, CA May 2009.

It is also a wonderful way to meet, share, explore, and network with other like-minded people.

The TMI workshop sponsored by Holos last weekend was a huge success. Doc Barham did a magnificent job facilitating and proved, once again, what a gifted teacher he is. His short presentations on topics ranging from binaural beats and subtle energy technology to circadian rhythms and the differences between subjective and objective time were concise, clear, and informative. All participants remained highly engaged to the point they stayed a couple extra hours with Doc the first night talking and experiencing the technology!

Although I, too, was supposed to be a facilitator for the event, I was invited to participate and decided to accept the offer. This was the first time I had used Hemi-Sync in a group setting and, I must say, it was a totally different, dare I say better, experience. Circling up for discussion after each meditative session and hearing about each person’s individual process was amazing. Seeing and feeling the excitement of two or more people confirming their shared ‘visualizations’ was validating and created momentum for the weekend through shared anticipation. Listening to the chain of Excursion cds also allowed me to differentiate “levels” of subtle state phenomenon to a finer degree.

All in all, it was a great weekend. I feel blessed to have shared space with such a wonderful collection of people.
